English is highlighted in the open language chooser and displayed in the closed field after confirmation.

How is it judged?

01 · Given
Restore the data and starting state.
An authorized contributor administrator opens Manage supported languages for auto-translation. The account has Translation Admin, Release Coordinator and super-admin access, and its group has access to automatic translation suggestions. The mapping is empty, the Language chooser is available, and the separate automatic-suggestions switch is off. No translation provider has been selected.

02 · When
Perform the interaction.
Open the Language chooser, type e, press Arrow Down until English is visibly highlighted, and press Enter to confirm that selection.

03 · Judge
Rationale: The language choice is independent of provider selection and saving the mapping. Replacing a confirmed choice silently makes the pending configuration unreliable.
Require
After confirmation, keep English displayed and selected in the closed Language control for the pending mapping until further user action.
Allowed
  • A native or custom accessible chooser is acceptable if the described keyboard interaction can select English and the resulting value remains English.
  • An equivalent localized label for English is acceptable if it unambiguously represents the same language.
  • No provider selection, mapping save or automatic-translation toggle change is required by this case.
